AWBW Map Converter - The Topic

Post  JakeSamiRulz on Fri Jun 06, 2014 4:06 pm

The AWBW site seems to be a bit unstable. No fault of yours, but I'd hate for you guys to lose all the hard work you've put into designing the maps. For any of you guys that can run Java.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/ylialp79dhcc1fd/AWBWConverter.rar

This gets maps by ID and roughly (very roughly) converts it back to Headphone's format. It is a very early version with no bells and whistles, but hopefully you can use this to save the maps you guys need. I'm still slightly working on this, so I may update it to do more than just the map (and possibly add a GUI to it).

Save as much maps as you can. (I rushed this out in a day... but if you have any suggestions or comments, I'll be happy to hear them...)

Is there an easier way to use this program without setting up java configuration on my pc. I can't even edit the jar files. The .bat is not working since it requires setting up java profiles or something.

The only thing I can run is the jar file but that only apply If I want to download whole map from the database.

Due to how quick I designed this program, there is no real support without actually installing Java to get the entire AWBW database. I do have the basics for the program, so the next best thing I can do is make sure the next version can actually do a little more.

Maybe I should somehow integrate this into CWT for the future. For now, I guess it just will be "What you see is what you get." If you have any ideas for the future version of this program, then at least I'll be able to do something about it for the next version. I'll be patient for any replies.
