New player thread yay

Post  Best Sakuya NA on Tue Dec 01, 2015 4:10 pm

I guess I'll start this thread off, I'm Best Sakuya NA! I have a long history of competitive games and game design, going all the way back to netplay on Marathon: Infinity and designing scenarios for it. For more design work, feel free to drop by Advance Wars by Web (I'm Mori there) where I design maps and organize the current ladder maps. I've done map design in a number of games over the past 15 years or so, and don't plan on stopping any time soon. For competitive gaming, I was consistently one of the top 10 players in Infinity Wars constructed, and wrote guides, did videos, the works. I even worked on the Infinity Council for Lightmare Studios, which involved using a test server to make sure new content would work, filing bug reports, and even rebalancing upcoming or previous cards to better fit the competitive scene.

While I'll still be working at AWBW, I'm moving some of my time over to Duelyst in the hopes that I can do some good here.

I just started playing Smile
It's pretty fun so far, the only annoying thing is that animations take so long.
Is there an option to speed them up?

So far as I know, no, but I think they sped up some of the animations in a patch a little while ago.
